Fresh strawberries and softened butter are whipped together to create a delicious spread. You’ll want to put it on everything.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, room temperature
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to use. It will firm up in the fridge.

Notes

Store in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for later use.

  • Variations
  • Make it vegan: Use 1 stick of a vegan butter substitute (½ cup) instead of the butter.
  • Make it with strawberry jam: Replace the sugar and fresh strawberries with ¼ cup of strawberry jam.
