Cute Rice Krispies Valentine Treats with 5 ingredients. An easy recipe for decorated heart-shaped cut-outs with white chocolate and sprinkles.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 10 ounce bag of marshmallows (40 regular-sized or 5 1/2 cups of mini)
  • 6 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 12-ounce bag of white chocolate chips
  • Valentine’s Day sprinkles
  • heart-shaped Cookie Cutter

Instructions

  1. First, prepare your dish and baking sheet: Coat a 9×13-inch pan with cooking spray. Then, coat a silicone spatula with butter and rest it inside the oiled pan. Then, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Then, add the marshmallows and stir until they have completely dissolved.
  3. Remove the marshmallow mixture from the heat and stir in the crispy rice cereal.
  4. Use the buttered spatula to press the cereal mixture into the prepared pan. Allow it to cool slightly.
  5. Spray your heart-shaped cookie cutter with cooking spray. Then, use it to cut out heart-shaped Rice Krispies Valentine Treats. Place the heart cut-outs on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Add the melting chips to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave them for 20 seconds, stir, and repeat until melted.
  7. Once at a time, dip the hearts in the melted white chocolate and return them to the parchment-lined sheet pan. Or, leave them on the pan and drizzle them with melted chocolate.
  8. While the chocolate is still soft, decorate the hearts with Valentine’s Day sprinkles.
  9. Place the pan in the fridge for 20 minutes for the chocolate to set.
  10. Remove from the refrigerator and serve.
