Ingredients

Units Scale

Garlic Butter Spread

  • 4 tablespoons softened butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Assemble the Sliders

  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing the pan
  • 1 12-count pack of Hawaiian-style sweet dinner rolls, sides attached
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 4 ounces sliced pepperoni
  • 4 ounces deli-style sliced provolone (6 slices)

Topping

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons of grated parmesan (from a can)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For Serving

  • 1 cup of pizza sauce or marinara

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350℉.

Make the Garlic Butter Spread

  1. In a small bowl, mix 4 tablespoons of softened butter with ½ teaspoon of garlic powder and ¼ teaspoon fine salt.
  2. Set aside.

Assemble the Sliders

  1. Grease the bottom and sides of a 9×13 baking dish with butter or spray with cooking spray.
  2. Slice the entire thing of rolls in half horizontally without pulling them apart. They should look like a giant hamburger bun.
  3. Spread the garlic butter on the inside of the top and bottom halves of the rolls.
  4. Place the bottom layer of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the bottom rolls. Then, layer the pepperoni on. Then, layer the sliced provolone.
  6. Place the top layer of rolls on.
  7. Use a serrated knife to carefully cut into individual sandwiches. Use your hands to gently push everything back together.

Add the Topping

  1. Melt the butter in a small microwave-safe bowl. Then, add the parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, dried basil, and salt. Stir to combine, then spread it on the top of the sliders.

Bake and Serve

  1. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil.
  2. Bake at 350℉ for 20 minutes until hot and melted.
  3. Remove from the oven. Leave the foil on and let them rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the foil and serve with pizza sauce or marinara for dipping.

Notes

  • Don’t put the pizza sauce on the sliders before baking. They will get soggy.
  • You can easily double the recipe. You can squeeze 2 packs of Hawaiian rolls into a 9×13 pan.
  • Make Ahead: You can assemble these up to 1 day in advance. Assemble the sliders and cover the pan with foil. Refrigerate. Then, remove from the fridge and bake before serving.
