This pecan crusted goat cheese log perfectly balances creamy, tangy, crunchy, and nutty. It only uses two ingredients and makes a great addition to salads and charcuterie boards.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 8ounce log of plain chevre goat cheese
  • 1/2 cup pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Toast pecan halves in a dry, heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat, stirring until fragrant. Roughly 2-3 minutes.
  2. Then, pour pecan pieces onto a cutting board and wait for them to cool to room temperature.
  3. Once the pecans have cooled, roughly chop them into small pieces.
  4. Next, gently roll the goat cheese log on the pecans to coat it. You can use your hands to add pecan pieces to fill in gaps after rolling.
  5. Serve it immediately or wrap it in plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator for up to a day.

Notes

  • Slice and add to salads
  • Add it to a charcuterie board
  • Serve with crackers or veggie slices
