Banana Spinach Smoothie with Frozen Berries

A quick, nourishing 4 ingredient smoothie with banana, frozen berries, milk, and 2 cups of baby spinach. An easy blender recipe to add more fruits and veggies to your diet.


Units Scale
  • 2 cups washed baby spinach
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • 1 cup of your choice of milk
  • A few ice cubes

Optional add-ins

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon protein powder (I like pure collagen protein)
  • 1 tablespoon hemp hearts
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter



  1. Add the spinach to the blender first. Then add the remaining ingredients and any add-ins you choose.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour and enjoy immediately.


Make the simple 4 ingredient version, or choose 1 or more of the optional add-ins for a nutrient boost.

If it’s too thick, add a little more milk or water. If it’s not frozen enough, blend in a few more ice cubes.
